Upgrade Client to Reseller

Is there a simply way to upgrade an existing client in ISPConfig3 to reseller status?

Through the interface, it looks like I would have to create a new Reseller and then move sites/email behind the scenes on the server. I am a little leery about this approach since the possibility of getting the permissions/ownership values messed up is high.

I was hoping that perhaps I can just change a value in the database.

Change the limit_client value in the database to a number > 0 to make the client a reseller.

In ISPConfig 2, clients and resellers are stored in different database tables. So a client can not be upgraded to a reseller in ispconfig 2.
