Default Linux SSD

I would like to find a HOWTO for Linux SSD. Ideally, the HOWTO would include discussions about:
1) Filesystem alignment
2) Filesystem selection tradeoffs (journalling tradeoffs, tuning, etc.)
3) RAIDed SSD specific issues, such as whether TRIM command work under RAID, hw vs. sw RAID etc.
4) Benchmark methodologies for both RAID and single disk SSD installs

I've done a lot of googling trying to resolve these issues, but I'm yet to find a good reference that would come anywhere close to what I would refer to as a "HOWTO" guide.

Appreciate any feedback.
