Default Debian 5 Config Help

Hi all,

First post so bare with me if i do something wrong.

I have recently been asked by a family member to help with their dedicated server that they go through Hostnetworks.com.au. I have an ok background in computers and have administered windows servers in the past. I have not used Linux in a good 5 years or so, so im a little rusty.

I would like to put an email server on it. Most of the howto's use apache and mySQL, the server i got came setup with NginX and another SQL handler.

What im wondering would it be easy to Change to apache and mySQL so that i can use the howto's and perhaps IPSconfig3 on my server.

Any help would be appreciated

Many thanks in advance

That's no problem. Just use apt to remove nginx and then use one of the tutorials here to install Apache/MySQL.
