Default innodb_buffer_pool_size

Where can I change the variable innodb_buffer_pool_size for mysql?

I need more than 8M.

I guess you can do this in your my.cnf. Depending on your distribution, it's either /etc/mysql/my.cnf or /etc/my.cnf.
