Question change rewrite to use real vhost

hi,

i have a domain with a bunch of subdomains, currently (using confixx) redirected to webX/subdir1 webX/subdir2 etc.

when i add these subdomains in ispconfig and set the forward value to "subdir1" the url looks like:
http://www.myweb.com/subdir1
instead of
http://subdomain.myweb.com

is there a way to change this?
i can setup a "site" for every subdomain i need but this isn't a nive solution.

thanks, fabian

Maybe you can add the co-domain to the website, leave the forward value empty and put your custom redirect rules in the Apache directives field.

You can extend the ISPConfig rewriting functionality if you dont like it how it is currently handled
