domain module in 3.0.3
Hi,
This must be a very stupid question to ask... nevertheless here it is:
What is the domain module used for in ispconfig ?
Is it some sort of "package manager" where one can add a domain+mail+db etc to a customer?
Is there a way to automatically add mail+site+dns+dbase+db_user ?
Is there any external hooks for connecting an ispconfig setup in an external billing application ?
thank you,
ispcomm

now it mainly to prevents user for input any domain he wants into all services (except DNS)
eg if user creates website, cannot add any different domain name then domain in his domain list...

There will be a ispconfig billing addon available at the end of september.
If you like to connect with extrenal software to ispconfig, then you might want to take a look at the remoting API.

The billing addon is not finished yet, we will announce it on ispconfig.org when it will be available.
The billing addon will be made available for a price of 59 EUR to help to cover the costs of the ISPConfig project. There are special conditions available for individuals and companys that already contribute code to ispconfig, so if you are a regular contributor, please contact me.

Thank you again Till.
I intend to contribute to the growth of ispconfig; I just recently discovered it and I am also ready to pay for the billing addon.
I am going through the developer's forum to acquaint myself of the processes involved with writing a module for ispconfig?
Does the billing addon include a domain module?
I am looking at how to create a domain module for ispconfig.

A good starting point for ISPConfig development is this Tutorial:
http://docs.ispconfig.org/development/interface/
For additional questions, please ask here in the developer forum as we do not have a extensive developer documentation yet. If you like to contribute code to ispconfig, please contact me for a SVN account by email to dev [at] ispconfig [dot] org
The billing addon has no domain robot module for automated domain registrations yet. We planned to add a domain robot module later.

I wanted to find out what's new with the billing addon. It is holding back my implementation of ISPConfig because most of the billing packages that I know of out there do not support ISPConfig out of the box.
