Unhappy Problem with sending mail via Roundcube

I've been using roundcube for about 2 years now and all of a sudden, as of today, i am unable to send email with RoundCube.

The error i get in Roundcube states that 553 SMTP Authentication failed.

In the errors file i find :
Code:
[23-Sep-2011 14:09:51 +0200]: SMTP Error: SMTP error: Authentication failure: Invalid response code received from server (Code: 535) in /var/www/htdocs/roundcube/program/steps/mail/func.inc on line 1501 (POST /?_unlock=loading1316779791192?_task=mail&_action=send)
[23-Sep-2011 14:37:12] Invalid response code received from server (535):
in my /var/log/mail.warn logfile i find :
Code:
Sep 23 14:37:12 Aphrodite-Artemis postfix/smtpd[29532]: warning: SASL authentication problem: unable to open Berkeley db /etc/sasldb2: No such file or directory
Sep 23 14:37:12 Aphrodite-Artemis postfix/smtpd[29532]: warning: SASL authentication problem: unable to open Berkeley db /etc/sasldb2: No such file or directory
Sep 23 14:37:12 Aphrodite-Artemis postfix/smtpd[29532]: warning: SASL authentication failure: no secret in database
Sep 23 14:37:12 Aphrodite-Artemis postfix/smtpd[29532]: warning: localhost[127.0.0.1]: SASL DIGEST-MD5 authentication failed: authentication failure
The thing is, i do not use SASLAUTHD ... So i have no clue why all of a sudden this is giving me errors ...

Any help is very much appreciated ...

Thanks in advance,

Can you run
Code:
ls -la /etc/postfix/
and take a look at the dates? Has any of the files been modified recently?

What's in your main.cf?

Do you get this error only with RoundCube, or with other email clients (such as Outlook, Thunderbird, SquirrelMail, etc.) as well? If it's only with RoundCube, you should check if it has recently been changed/updated.

So you did not try if it's only RoundCube that is affected?

Nope, problem is that i cant really test it my ISP blocks SMTP connections from my home to other SMTP servers.

They only allow the one to their SMTP servers ...

Any other suggestions except updating roundcube ? :P ( which would be the obvious )
