We don't have a Nagios tutorial, but one about Zabbix which does pretty much the same (I guess):

take a look this
nagios and oreon installation
in debian it is pretty good one or just check nagios tutorials check this nagios
installation from nagios source code and configuration
with examples this will definitely help you.

how to configure a distributed monitoring server using nagios?
hi guyz..this is my first time to implement thie system..about nagios..and im using a centos ..
can anyone here had already done setting up a distributed monitoring server in nagios?.
if u have..a guide or how to do it..
much better if u give me a link for documentation..thanks...
