MySQL Data Base

Hi there,

I need to create a data base using one of my accounts created in shell mode,
I've tried mysql -u asesoria -p and ask for password but I typed the proper password and give error 1045, it might be possible that system is not allowing me to access to that user?? connected remotely using PuTTY.

You can only login with mysql users to a mysql users, not with shell user accounts.

Why dont you use the ispconfig database functions to create a database incl. mysql database user and login with that user or use phpmyadmin?
