Default DNZ Zone error with the email contains underscore!

Hi,

DNS Zone dosen't allow to use the email which contains _ underscore. The error message is "Email format invalid".

When create a client with the same email then it works fine. Hope it can be fixed as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Harry

Underscores are not allowed in email addresses. Please use a email address without underscore. Thanks for reporting that it was possible to create a email address with underscore in the email module, we will fix the regular expression to disallow that.

Hi Till

Thank you for your reply.

Underscore must be allowed as the email contained underscore is valid email format. e.g. harry_kim@netcafe24.co.nz

Am I confused?

Cheers
Harry

I just checked the rfc. You are right, the underscore in the local part is ok.

Hi Till

Yes, underscore can be used in the local part. But DNS zone doesn't allow this at the moment....Client module (add or modify client) is ok.

Thanks
Harry
