Default DHCP hostname

Hey everybody,

I got a dedicated server that I'm using with ISPConfig, the problem right now is that I did change the hostname and everything but after restarting the server, the hostname is set again directly from the ISP! Is there a way of deactivating that and why is dhcp activated if I have a static IP for the server? I'm using Debian 5.0

Thanks for your help.

Eddie
