Default Silent JRE - why? Pls hlp
Hi,

I just installed the JRE by Sun, it suits my needs...but has no sound. I tested it on Runescape and got the music (midi?) but none of the environmental sounds...

Also, I noticed neither ALSA nor PulseAudio appear in the sound settings GUI...though they seem to be installed.

All the other stuff (Skype, VLC,...) does make sound...
