Default Nameserver do not responding (ispConfig 3) on Amazon Ec2

Hi,
i'm italian boy (sorry for my english).
I have purchased a domain on godaddy.com registrar and a instance EC2 amazon with ubuntu+ispconfig3 on AMAZON

On godaddy i have setup two nameserver :

ns1.domain.com --> Amazon-ip-ISPC3 (79.125.XXX.XXX)
ns2.domain.com --> Hosteurope-ip-PLESK Panel

In the attach files my configuration on ispconfig for NameServer ns1.

THE NAMESERVER ns2.domain.com is ok. The First is not visible and not pingable.

You missed to add the dots at the domain names. Every fully qualified domain name in DNS has to end with a dot.

Thanks, Till.

Congratulations for all the work.

P.S.

Why do not automatically add the "dot" ?

As this would destroy all relative DNS Records.

For example a working and valid A-Record is:

A mail 123.123.123.123

so if no dot is used, the zone gets added to the record. The above example is the A-record for "mail.example.com".

Hi Till,
i have a problem about the domain registration with extension ".it".

The italian NIC (authority for .it domain), make several control befor transfer the nameserver.

The same configuration is ok for all other extensions.

what service do you recommend to backup DNS server?
I Have other server with plesk. It's possible to use this?

After, the response:

<domain name="mixian.it." status="FAILED">
