Default Update

Two questions:

1) I am updating from ISPConfig 2.2.32. Is there anything I need to install before updating? It really makes me sad when an update fails.

2) Is it safe to run "update" and "upgrade" on an ISPConfig server. It's been a while and I'm worried stuff is getting dramatically out of date.

Thanks.

1) Make sure that sudo is installed as described in the release notes.
2) generally yes. But you should ensure that you have the correct sources in the sources.list file, so that you do not do a dist upgrade accidently.

On all Ubuntu versions, sudo is always installed.

Right, but which one needs to be commented out in order to avoid updating the distribution?

Can someone please help me update...It's been a while, but I don't want to mess up ISPConfig or anything else since it's being used. I am not sure which sources update the distribution, but here is my sources file:
