Default CGI-Bin and PErl locations for user

Hey guys after finally getting it all working I need a little help
If my domain is example.com - what is the correct path for the CGI-bin
Is it www.example.com/cgi-bin ?
And the next dumb question is

What is the path to perl is /usr/bin/perl ????

- Basically trying a test with actinic and want to use it for a test site.

Thanks in advance
