Default Users Web Space

Hi there

Just a question (maybe a stupid one):

How can i change the path to the users web space http://www.xxx.com/~webx_username/ to something more friendly like http://www.xxx.com/username, i mean the username is webx_hmenjivar, i want to use (if its possible) only hmenjivar (whitout webx_) on Internet access...

Hector

The username without prefix is not stored anywhere, so i think you can not redirect to the last part of the username automatically.

The only solution I see is that you enter manually some apache rewrite rules for the user webspaces in the apache directives input field of the website.
