Hello,
I need to setup awstats for some of my sites.
I'm running ISPConfig 3.0.2, these are new installs and NOT upgrades from older ISPConfig versions (I did upgrade one to 3.0.2.1). These installs are on Debian Lenny, and I used the HowTo forge "perfect setup" guide for installation.
I do have the Debian awstats package installed, version 6.7.x
When looking through the forums and help docs, most of the available info seems to be for ISPConfig 2.x, or older versions of 3.0.
For example on the download page it says "AWStats Info (AWStats is now integrated in ISPConfig since 2.2.33). " and various places in the forums link to
http://jnsc.ch/ispconfig.php which also warns that "As of ISPConfig 2.2.33, AWStats is directly included in the standart, stable release. Do not try to use this script with a version > 2.2.32"
I thought maybe I needed to follow certain parts of the old setup instructions, and just skip the plugin-install part, but I keep finding discrepancies right away.
For example, there's no ispconfig/scripts/shell/ directory so I can't run "/root/ispconfig/php/php /root/ispconfig/scripts/shell/awstats.php"
(and actually on Debian it's under /usr/local/ispconfig not /root/ispconfig)
Also, there's no file named *awstats* anywhere under /usr/local/ispconfig, in particular there's no server/plugins-available/
There's also nothing about awstats that I can find in the ISPConfig interface.
Webalyzer is already working, I can access it by navigating to /stats/ under the site URLs. I did not do anything to setup Webalyzer, it simply worked out of the box.
This made me wonder if awstats is already "working" too, and I just don't know the URL to access it? I tried appending /cgi-bin/awstats.pl and other paths to the URL but nothing turns up.
Can somebody help me out here, please?
Thank you,
JW
