Default Spam Filter not functioning (revisited)

This thread seems to have fallen down the back of the filing cabinet so I'll start again now I'm back from holiday...

Spams are not being tagged:

the setup is: Perfect Server + suse11.1 + ispconfig 3.0.1

spam filter policy = Normal; all options = No
Quarantine options = blank ( I don't know what to put there!)
Tag Levels = 3,6,7,0,0,YES,***SPAM3***, ***SPAM6***
Other = blank, blank, blank, blank, No, No, blank, blank, blank, blank, blank, 0, blank (( I don't know what to put there either!)

Till asked me to check the headers. There are no spam references but there is a line -
Code:
X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at mydomain.tld
He suggested setting debuggung on in amavisd 50-user file but this file is not present

He then asked for listings of /etc/amvisd.conf and /etc/amavis/amavisd.conf There are no other files or folders in /etc/amavis/

Here is the listing for /etc/amavis/amavisd.conf

(I'll have to start a net post for the other .conf as the site throws an error if the post is too long)

Code:
use strict;

# a minimalistic configuration file for amavisd-new with all necessary settings
#
#   see amavisd.conf-default for a list of all variables with their defaults;
#   see amavisd.conf-sample for a traditional-style commented file;
# for more details see documentation in INSTALL, README_FILES/*
#   and at http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/amavisd-new-docs.html

Add:

$final_virus_destiny = D_BOUNCE;
$final_spam_destiny = D_DISCARD;
$final_banned_destiny = D_BOUNCE;
$final_bad_header_destiny = D_DISCARD;

to /etc/amavisd.conf and restart amavisd.

I have added those lines but the results are still the same.

I have also done the 3.0.1.3 update.

I have noted the following:

in ispc I have
SPAM subject tag = ***SPAM 3***
SPAM subject tag2 = ***SPAM 6***

but in /etc/amavisd.conf
$sa_spam_subject_tag = '***SPAM***';

and no entry for tag2

Also, when I save the spamfilter settings in ispc it does not write to /etc/amavisd.conf

This is a old thread and the config files have been changed in recent ispconfig versions. Please make a new thread with a detailed description of your problem incl. an excerpt of the log file lines.

Hi Guys,

Mine may be an old thread but it is still a live issue for me. I have just lost heart in finding a solution!!! It has been a problem on all version and on 2 separate servers.

I now think that the problem is that amavis or SA are not reading the settings stored in mysql by ispc.

Is this a clue?

As everybody seems to want to ignore my post about making a new thread, I will close this now as your posts are not related to the original issue of the thread. Make a new thread as I suggested.
