Default Ftp not working :(

Hi
Unfortunally my server got hacked by some I***ts who delete some websites and stole my passwords files i have had to reinstall my server i followed the guide here http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/sho...move+ispconfig except i didnt restore the password, shadow and group file, cause then they would be identical to the ones the hackers stole.

Now everything is working expect my ftp and without i ever have looked in proftpd_ispconfig.conf it looks a little wierd to me

The login does not work because the password and shadow files conatin the login details for FTP. You will have to copy the lines for the ftp and mail users in these files to the new server as described in the mov ispconfig thread. Aftewrwards you can change them in ispconfig.

The proftpd_ispconfig.conf that you posted is fine.
