Default Configuring Nameservers on Centos 5.2 on www.vps.net

Hello there,

I am an absolute newbie in VPS arena. I have bought a VPS from www.vps.net.
I installed Centos 5.2 on it along with CpanelWHM.

Now that, I have got an static IP and a virtual server, I was expecting to have my own nameservers, as in, ns1.my-primary-domain.com

I was going to host some more domains of mine , on this server, so wanted to change the DNS entry to something like ns1.my-primary-domain.com

Also, when trying to turn on SPF on my account, it is saying
Quote:
Status: Enabled, WARNING: SPF cannot be used because this server is not a DNS server for karigor-blog.com [?]
So, again, i think, i need to make this server as dns server.

Please suggest an way forward.

Cheers

This tutorial should give you the idea (although it's for ISPConfig 2): http://www.howtoforge.com/ispconfig_dns_godaddy
