L2TP connection to another server

Good-morning,

For a project that was just dumped into my lap I need to use L2TP without IPSec to connect to a Windows server. My knowledge of L2TP isn't all that spectacular, but I am guessing that with OpenSwan I should be able figure something out.

Is a virtual interface created once the tunnel is open via OpenSwan? I have a php script that needs to POST to the webserver at the other end of the tunnel and I am a little hazy as to how Apache will be able to resolve the host at the other end.

u do not need openswan you need xl2tpd.
