Default centos doesn't show eth0

i install centos 6.5 on vmware without internet card. Then i have done install i add 1 internet card
i used ifconfig command just only show Lo
ifconfig command eth0 not recoginsed
ifconfig -a command show eth0
when i used vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 (New file = blank)
So how to fix this

Hi

edit the eth0 file & give entries like this

BOOTPROTO=none
IPV4_FAILURE_FATAL=yes
IPV6INIT=no
NAME=eth0
ONBOOT=yes
IPADDR=xx.x.x.x
GATEWAY=Your gateway
DNS1=Your DNS
/QUOTE]

check its runleve status
by

chkconfig --list | grep -i netw
Make it ON at your desired level

Then restart the network
