Do you know a program that will allow me to fetch emails decided on UIDL?

Hi to everybody.
I need to fetch email from a main mailserver to a local one.
I configured getmail and it's working fine, but it allow me to choose just which emails I want to fetch based on email account.

What I want is fetch emails decided on UIDL of the emails.
(to know the UIDL of the emails, I was thinking to create a program that, starting from a POP3 connection, will create a database with the UIDLs of emails).

Do you know a program that is able to fetch email decide on UIDL?
