I seem to be having problems with httpd. Within seconds of server startup, when I do a /etc/init.d/httpd status, I see TONS of pids:

Yes, within seconds. Is this a DDOS? Or syn flood attack? What is this?

Any errors in Apache's error log?
Do you see a high load when you run
