Default EBDA too big/Susu 9.3

Hi folks,

I am using a remote - server which is placed not near my finger tips. .
After ran few months , suddenly i couldn't access the server . Then i asked from the server providers.

they said like this

"When we tried to boot up your server but it stopped with a lilo error "EBDA too big". We chrooted in and reinstalled lilo."

what is that means and how it was happend?

Thx
