Default Is it possible to start a domU from Xen 2.x under Xen 3.0?

Hello, i have an image from a Suse, made with xen 2.x.Now i installed a Xen 3.0 with Debian.
When i copy the image and the kernels files from the xen 2 machine on the xen 3 machine, it isn't possible to start this domU.
Did anyone try that before? Or is that impossible?

Thx, Gurke666
