Default Amanda Howto Needed.

Hello, I am in dire need of a step by step howto install and setup amanda for Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04. I have tried it myself with no luck at all.

You could try following http://wiki.zmanda.com/index.php/Quick_start. I used that originally, following through it while clicking out to links in the rest of their wiki for further information or detail as needed.
