Default yast

Dear dipeshmehta
Thank you verry much for your quick reply . I have checked aptitude it is ok for software updation . I wannt to configure some softwares such as DNS server configuration, (adding MX ,NS records) as I got, it is easier from YAST on SUSE (nice interface in CLI). is this aptitude can do same thing or any tools for those kind of configuration?

sorry friend,

I have been using aptitude or apt-get only for software installation/removal. I never used it to configure any software. Similarly, I haven't used suse as well as yast ever, so I can't compare.
