Wink The Perfect Server - OpenSUSE 11.1 noob help

Hi all could someone explane to me where i find these am total noob on networking and learning more everyday

am trying to run a home server following this great tut

You could get a hostname at dyndns.org and use that for your server.

Regarding the network settings, take a look at your router's web interface, there you should see the router's local IP address. This is the gateway IP. This also tells you in what subnet you are. Pick a free IP from that subnet and use it for your server.
