proftpd config

Dear till,
I just want to test the ftp service in ISPConfig, create a user and I can see that the database added a new ftp user. Then I try to login and not successful. Look around the log file and seems there's no connection between mysql and proftpd. Then I vi the proftpd.conf and cannot see and config parameter to connect to mysql.

How can I reconfig the proftpd to connect to mysql with ISPConfig? Manually or re-run the ispconfig? Thanks.

ISPConfig 3 uses pure-ftpd, proftpd is not supported for ISPConfig 3. Please install all services as described in the perfect setup guide for ispconfig 3.
