Default Unicode in ispconfig3

The perfect setup debian lenny and ispconfig3 yields unicode issues with ĺäö in ispconfig (swedish language).

Any thread detailing a fix for this yet or anyone got suggestions?

ISPConfig uses utf-8 in the interface, so it should work fine. To which lsngusge did you set your shell?

en_US.UTF8 UTF-8 is the only chosen one and default

maybe a fix would be to add sv_SE.UTF-8 in my case?
