Default problem with flash on ff ubuntu Karmic Koala

Hi all
I was installing and configuring my linux box according to this howto: The Perfect Desktop - Ubuntu 9.10 .

It all went fine except for the flash plug in into ff. It did not installed at all. Doing "aboutlugins"i do not see flash instaled. Log in into sites with flash and FF ask to install the addon.

Any one came into it and solved it?

Thank you.
Menahem
