Default Standalone system

I am wanting to run a test system, which is not on a network, if I install everything as per install guides and create a web/site in ispconfig and called it www.testingdomain.co.uk would that domain be available on that machine, if I point its dns to itself.

Basically I am installing everything on a laptop and using it to test some scripts I am writing but I dont want to have to have a internet connection ect... to do all the testing. If you know what I mean.

Thanks

The easiest way would be to put www.testingdomain.co.uk in /etc/hosts.
