Default KErnel not showing all my memory

My kernel is only showing 886 of the 2048 MB memory.

I know that for Mandrake there are up 1GB kernels and they work great on my other system with 2GB. I have been lookig for this kernels for Debian but haven't found a good place.

Can somebody help me with this. How can a change the current 2.6 kernel to support the full 2GB memory, or where can a find a up 1GB kernel for Debian?

Thanks for your help

The text was to long so I only posted the part of the kernel. Do you need the whole text or is this enough.

I got the 2.6 kernel after updating the net install 2.4 that also wasn't supporting all my memory.

Thanks for helping Falko

You could try to install kernel-image-2.6.8-12-amd64-k8 then.

Is a AMD64 kernel working also on a 32bit system then? The Athlon XP is 32bit and the processor is called the K7.

Oh, I'm sorry. I read Athlon and thought this is a 64-bit Athlon...
You're right, this won't work. You can try to install kernel-image-2.6.8-3-k7 instead.
