What is the best way to update my Mandriva 2009.0 system to 2009.1?
Should I just set my mirrors to update from the 2009.1 ones or is there a safer way to update?
The commands are clear except I don't understand the purpose of using the first command
mkdir /mnt/2009.1-Iso
mount -o loop ../mandriva.....iso /mnt/2009.1-Iso
Is this to build an ISO and then upgrade from it?
Also what if you need to use cooker after the upgrade for bug fixes etc..
Do you just add the mirrors?

This is if you're using the Mandriva ISO file instead of the DVD.
