I has permanete error messages with Proftpd.

(127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]) - PAM(setcred): System error 
(127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]) - PAM(close_session): System error

can someone say to me from where comes there?

Did you follow any of the "Perfect Setup" tutorials on HowtoForge?

Does FTP work from a remote computer (with an FTP client like SmartFTP)?

Hello,
the Connect functioned of each Client via ftp only I have again and again these messages in the log. I made the installation exact after Howto and also no problems had thereby.
The operating system is with me Fedora core 4

Ah, I guess I know what's happening: this is ISPConfig's monitoring script that connects to ProFTPd to see if it's running. It doesn't need to log in, it just needs to connect. You don't need to worry about this error in the log.
