Default ISPConfig 3 without mydns

Is it possible to install ISPConfig 3 without mydns if we don't plan to use the DNS feature of ISPConfig and disable it in the settings?

If yes, will other things like internet sites, e-mail etc work without problems?

Thank you.

Default

I use external DNS. In a lightly loaded ispc3 server I haven't had any problems without every setting up mydns. Mail, web, shell login and ftp all work fine for me.
