Multiple NIC & Backups

Hi Guys,

I would like to add a second NIC to my server. I'm running perfect setup ubuntu with ISPConfig 3.

I would like to add the second card and set it up with different IP addresses so that i can make backups to another local machine inside the server room.

Here are the questions:
1. Is there a howto for making backups of my ispconfig server 3 - websites, mail, users & db?
2. Is there an issue running 2 nics in the server?

1) No. But there is nothing special regarding ispconfig. Just make backups e.g. with tar pcfz ... and for mysql backups you can use mysqldump or mysqlhotcopy.
2) I dont think so, but I did not tried it yet.
