FTP-server offline

Hi folks,

ISPconfig 2 tells me that my ftp-server is down! I noticed this when i was installing 'samba' apt-get install samba (dont know if this is related)... while it was installing samba, I got the following message and continue to get this message when i use the following commands

/etc/init.d/lighttpd restart
/etc/init.d/lighttpd force-reload

MESSAGE:-

Stopping web server: lighttpd.
Starting web server: lighttpd/usr/sbin/lighttpd: Symbol `FamErrlist' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking
2009-04-10 01:09:47: (configfile.c.855) source: /etc/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf line: 62 pos: 31 parser failed somehow near here: )
failed!

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

lighttpd is not supported by ISPConfig.
