Default Why does this happen every 10 minutes, pureftp?

Mar 27 18:10:01 paris pure-ftpd: (?@localhost.localdomain) [INFO] New connection from localhost.localdomain
Mar 27 18:10:01 paris pure-ftpd: (?@localhost.localdomain) [INFO] Logout.

My syslem log is filled with it, is it normal?

Thats the monitoring system which checks if the ftp server is online.
