Default Problems Recieving Email

Hello,

I have my ISPConfig System set up on Fedora Core 9. I created a domain, and a couple of email accounts. I am not using ISPConfig to manage DNS, I have an Offsite DNS provider.

My problem is, when I send email from RoundCube, it sends fine, but sends as "user@www.xalaris.net" and not "user@xalaris.net" I have checked my DNS settings, and all appear fine. And when I try to send an email back to "user@www.xalaris.net" or "user@xalaris.net" I never recieve anything, no rejection notice, nothing.

So I opened my mail log & I see this....
Quote:
Mar 25 12:47:44 xalaris postfix/smtpd[12153]: connect from cdptpa-omtalb.mail.rr.com[75.180.132.123]

Mar 25 12:47:44 xalaris postfix/smtpd[12153]: disconnect from cdptpa-omtalb.mail.rr.com[75.180.132.123]
Mar 25 12:47:44 xalaris postfix/local[12157]: 9D16814ACD: to=<root@xalaris.net>, orig_to=<support@xalaris.net>,
relay=local, delay=0.22, delays=0.16/0.01/0/0.05, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (delivered to maildir)
Mar 25 12:47:44 xalaris postfix/qmgr[10285]: 9D16814ACD: removed
It looks like the server is getting the message, but where it goes from there I dont know

Any ideas?
Thanks

You must set the correct sender address inyour email client (RoundCube, Outlook, etc.).

Please check if the MX record for xalaris.net is pointing to the correct server:
Code:
dig mx xalaris.net
