how to switch from proftpd to vsftp

Hi,

i want to switch from proftpd to vsftp. I have installed the ispconfig with debian perfect setup.

Just install vsftp with apt-get install ..... and the go to the admin panel and switch the ftp server ?

Basically it's not a good idea to switch after the ISPConfig installation (especially the switch from ProFTPd to vsftpd is tricky). Any special reason for this?

Hi,

yes please look at my other post. Problems with the speed up of the directory listing.

now the ispconfig box is @ testing mode ;-), so perhaps its not a problem to reinstall all, but i hope with vsftp everything is better, but i cant imaging
