Default host and / domainname question for new install (Lenny)

Once again Falko released a great howto, and I'm about to install some new servers with the new Lenny and ISPconfig 3

When you install Lenny (or any other distro) it will ask for a hostname, and domain name.

I've never been sure about this, but should the host and domainname that is used when installing the OS, also be created in ISPconfig?

I think yes (and till now I've alway done so), but I'm not 100% sure.

Anyone here who know more about this?

Yes, I'd use that hostname for ISPConfig as well. But I'd use a "technical" domain for the hostname (i.e., a domain that you don't use for web sites and email), because otherwise you might get problems with Postfix.
