Default Installing Ubuntu From A Windows System With Wubi

I was interested in Falkos howto on installing Ubuntu with Wubi. Has anyone tried doing this on an Acer Aspire One netbook?

I've done this in a virtual machine, so I can't tell if it works on your system.
