I have a small 40 user setup with only one domain and I would like to remove the web_id and use the same email name as username eg. johns and johns@domain.com, I have removed the web id and that works fine but I have one user who has an address of 3 characters like alb@domain.com and I get a limit restriction, how can I get round this?

You cannot add this user without changing the ISPConfig sourcecode.

The username check is in the isp_username plugin in /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/lib/plugins/
