Default pflogsumm sometimes not correct -hint

Hi there,

and thanks to all of you, how helped me with your tutorials many times.
thx falco and others.

My first post will evtl. help some of you.

Since the last few month pflogsumm
http://www.howtoforge.com/mail_stati...raph_pflogsumm
is running beautiful. But sometimes with no Mails in it.?
Courios i thougth, searched and see.

pflogsumm produced error-message
Quote:
gunzip: /var/log/mail.log.0 already exists; do you wish to overwrite (y or n)? n
Fund a solution:
put -f after gunzip - that force gunzip to overwrite. that helps me.
Code:
#!/bin/sh
PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin
gunzip -f /var/log/mail.log.0.gz

hth
Michael

P.S. correct posting - or wrong place?
