Default Suphp

Ok now i got my server reinstalled and recreated all websites etc etc.
I installed su_php because of recomandations from others, now my question is how do you change the default php.ini settings nothing seems to happend when i change php.ini ??

NEVER MIND I THINK I NEED TO SLEEP ITS IN /etc/php5/cgi
