isp manager: cannot create new client, reseller etc

HI,

I have just installed ISPconfig 2.2.11 on Fedora core 5 x86_64 without any error.

But i hit exact the same problem as described in this thread:

I have read this thread many times and am sure mine is a fresh install, mysql is on listening on tcp. doctype is in the table. But i still get :

" The following error occurred:

The requested document type does not exist. "

The only thing I can think is my database server has default utf8 character set. Does this matter?

Please help. I have bumped my head into the wall for a couple of days !! Thanks a lot.

Please make sure that your mysql database is set to default charset latin1 and not utf8 before you install ISPConfig.

thanks. I got it working by setting sql client as 'latin1'.
