clamAV handling of infected mails

Hi,

I would like to find out, is my clamAV working properly when it totally discards mails that contained contaminated attachments?

I have did a couple of tests with eicar, apparently clamd / clamscan totally discards the message instead of removing the attachment but still delivering the message to the reciepient.

Did i miss something in my configuration file?

This behaviour is correct. If you want to get other actions, you will have to write procmail recipes to do this.
