Update Suse 10 to 10.1

Ok I have never updated a linux type OS before, is there a way to upgrade the installation from 10.0 to 10.1.

AND

Is it really worth it does anyone know of any real improvements, I am a bit concerned about updateing because the current install is fine with no bugs/crashes... so I am thinking that upgrading the OS could cause more problems than its worth...... has anyone got a opinion on this.

I recommend to not upgrade if there is not a function in SUSE 10.1 that you definetly need. My personal experience is that you will either loose data or have to reconfigure parts of the server when you update.

I had these problems especially with SUSE. With DEBIAN i had only small problems as i updated a system from 3.0 to 3.1.

Would agree, I have had a quick look at the added features and i dont think there is anything that I need.... the system I have is running fine and is stable so not upgrade (except for new releases of ISPC )
